 It's OK being 'uncommitted' in thought and life... Being that troublesome , rogue maverick outside the herd mindset. Better than when you aren't settling as one of the 'consensual conformists'. Settling seems to be a way to reduce the agitation of stress, more than it is the contentment of satisfaction. What ever set of aesthetic trappings become your fetish-sized opiate, You end up going with that-in a defensive mode. Being more than a 'settling-mf' would take a proactive commitment of assertion or declaration: something not done when you have no intention of sticking-your-neck-out. Being an anonymously immersed and indistinguishable homogeneous non-identity to all but your transactional [for what more could they be?] non-intimates is the role You and others have and share.
