               Pathos-1    1 JOHN 19 V.5
5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, “Behold the man!”

[Aren’t all our lives scarred by the emotional thorns of our experience?]

 But, if we aren’t so absorbed in our dejection, we encounter portals of redemption for ourselves. My dreams-and, possibly, your dreams-are the tough-love, but enduring empathetic companion, which provide the insight for our wearied self-esteem.

Pathos II    Matthew 11:16-19 King James Version (KJV)
16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows. 17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. 18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. 19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a wine-bibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children”.
 
Of my many mea culpas and flaws- from being an opportunistic womanizer to a hedonistic imbiber of wine and drugs; in all those things, there were others with whom I could share a common, self-validating experience of enablement.

                Pathos III Genesis 28: 12
12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth,
and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of “God”, ascending and descending on it.

The alternatives to the divine creation stories of any sort- the molecular incarnation of past forms, or the GMO’ed descendants of extraterrestrials- have been part of our human ontological, narrative myth.

               Pathos IV     ~Revelations 1: 18~
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen.

From those speculative options of our ontological and contemporary origins emerges a synthesis that accounts for the present, and maybe a path to our ‘true’ ontological beginnings. The heterodoxy of descriptions of our origin are the inter-woven strands of our past. That past is a weave of diverse thoughts and helps expand our perspective of the dimensions of our capabilities into an ironic ’singularity’.

          Pathos V        Psalms 131: 2
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned off his mother: my soul is even as weaned [from the carnality of my childishness].

One of those manifestations of the ‘Singular Source’ would be ‘The Individual Psyche’ as its own culture and as the origins of culture. It’s the stream of consciousness that an individual would have with their own inner-and-self-identifying thought patterns, that are the architecture and operating program for their ongoing being. From the fractious, rhetorical, social and cultural contentions happening now, my view of these separate streams of consciousness in their confluence as the driver of the individual and group narratives, seems valid to me.

          Pathos VI        Thessalonians 1: 5
1 Thessalonians 1:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men  we were among you for your sake.

We, who detached ourselves from herd-thinking, took ownership of our own empowerment of effectuality, then projecting the basis of our effectuality on some abstract, third-party entity which is transcendent to us, are in a unique caste of anomie from the social herds. Instead of going further into these psychological projections of displacement away from we-humans and onto third party causes, we have the dimensions of the ‘Hierarchies of Thought’. It expresses itself in branches (or even castes) of thoughts from what we have conceived from all conscious, non-conscious (dreams), and subconscious data.

Pathos VII                Matthew 6: 31-32
    31 Therefore take no thought, saying, “What shall we eat?”or “What shall we drink?” or, “Wherewithal shall we be clothed?” 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek)

How we arrive at that point of doing and achieving our aspirations comes from a change in our thinking from the expedient, mechanical personality to the insightful, conceptual personality. Our education system is ‘geared’ for molding its captive labor-universe as cogs for whatever manual or intellectual pigeon-hole thinking in which they deign us to function.  As things have been so designed, the  economic conditions and ends are not so surprising; as is the questioning of this pedagogy of education and learning.

          Pathos VIII            John 3: 3
“Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom..”

Art is the shaping of not only the content, but the dimensions of that content. Art is the imaginative intercourse of our perception with the moment. ‘Art’ doesn’t accept anything as an immutable stasis, but as Nature’s ever-dynamic morphisms in its choreography with us. Dreams, as an art-form, is the canvas screen of the dimensions for our possible procreative personas of discovery.
