MEANING for those estranged from the temporal or secular 'Rewards'

There's a perceptual path of collated phenomenology and insights that have an association for you. It's neurologically initiated and precipitated as default reactions to stimuli. The accumulated aggregation has its psychological effect from the weight and qualitative gravitas of the aggregation.                                                                                                                          

The resulting perception is an impression that becomes a contingent hypothetical that gains credibility by its empirical aggregation with you and from anecdotal affirming testimonies of others. The latter
affirmations get more credence from you due to your relative youthful inexperience to the elders or, later, to the plurality of contemporary and historical data that's congruent.

In the end, the passage of time separates your empirical experience from the trajectory of others empirical or cognitive conclusions. As you and they go your incidental 'separate paths', those paths provide a narrative from the options you've chosen. What some of the chosen options evolve to are more than personal idiosyncrasies of character uniqueness, but more ethical-to-moral choices that transcend their temporal or secular significance.

This happens over decades and scores of years. What was once a close coherence of affinity between you and others becomes distinguishing   differences that must be managed and respected, going forward.
 

For your own mindset of preferences and predispositions the rationale  may have found something that was more than a transactional convenience. That, which was found, has reached a priority of operational importance to you beyond any aesthetic elective like. It's these operationally important factors that give purpose, guidance, and self-identification in doing the performance  of them as earnest obligations of commitment.

In ways these important factors are also a concurrent self-therapy of  bliss for yourself. They are equivalent surrogates to what you know of religious convictions and faith. There is a goal, a result that you'd  like to achieve or have some asymptotic similarity or close congruence.

The degree of intensity of invested focus to this goal or results will further define your trajectory's character with a more  self-conscious  awareness by you of its iconoclastic idiosyncrasies from your contemporaries and those you've considered as your peers.
 

When that character has a meaning that is an anomaly to the temporal ways and the secular paradigms you've known and accepted before, you. In hindsight, analyze the different events. It turns out that  many  times  it was the way you learned or were impressed by events-their advent-that presents the hypothetical that either by triggering events or some predetermined commission, you're uniquely suited to be doing what you've found yourself being.

That uniqueness had an affinity with your constituted physiology, as  well as your past breath of experiences that your existence  includes or  is more than the material circumstances of the times and the derived fabrications of those times with their trinkets,  beads, or other honorifics
of the times.

Getting to this acknowledgement of that likely hypothetical credibility presents a re-education and re-application of the data you've acquired, so you may formulate a consistent and coherent purpose that replaces what you now hold as the usurping    indoctrination of contemporaneous that has spellbound your existence up  to  this new resolution of thinking.

 The alchemy of logic for this reconstruction, when assisted by a synchronicity of facilitating serendipities, becomes a Jerry-rig of  concepts themselves that facilitate the conditions of synchronicities.  Those concepts are an attitude of being a receptive component  portal in a network of cosmic ethereal. Those ethereal transmit  serendipitous intangibles for those not focused or obsessed with the trinkets, beads, bling, bells-n-whistles that are the signal-noise  drama distractions of our time.
