I love you, but you are NOT SERIOUS, people! $1

Image
In 'Succession’s' final season, Logan Roi delivers perhaps the most illuminating line of the entire show: “I love you, but you are not serious people.” I can't say it with the same degree or intense sympathetic affections, but the banality of the passive-aggressive accommodation found in the muted outrage done in your online civility-to-satire is more a performative emotive, signal posturing than providing any attitudinal intent to what aggravated your angst of every-man' projection..                                                                                     ...

Status quo as our canvass of improvisation and inspiration $1

Image
Status quo as our canvass of improvisation and inspiration With the caveats of the past as the ‘road-sign’ advisors and nothing more, we forge ahead to empirically discover in extrapolating prospective thought the feasible hypotheticals we can do and be in our moment of dramatic manifestation. Unlike others who seek to dwell and fester in the-given, to the point of being repressively aggressive to others with their own dwelling, truncating suppressions of themselves, we see an infinity of spatial possibilities that the moment throws out as DI, randomly, for us to consider. This canvass which the moment bequeaths to us is our easel on which we leave the mark of our existence from unconscious-to-subconscious-to-selfconscious intent. We do this more as functionaries of  circumstances we initially didn’t seek but now must navigate with our limitations to reach the shores of some secure operational stability of affirmed cognizance. The context of circumstances we find ours...

Matrix of Our Social Tar-babies $1

Image
We’re programmed, unwitting suckers by the well-intended, mostly, ‘Old School’ wisdoms passed on to us to avoid predicaments, but those wisdoms are themselves minefields, emotional boobie-traps for us in the empiric reality of life. Our obliged trust for those we’ve bonded to in emotional dependence and affection set us up to be acquiescently accepting of thoughts and behaviors that were the proverbial stones over which we stumbled in chagrined realization of our own misinformation.   Yet, because we had the psychological escape from the disingenuous reliance on the assurance of past affirmations   of such thoughts and actions, we continued  to seek the versions ‘we know are out there’, getting  ourselves more entwined in the grasp of past fallacies. Those fallacies are   a default matrix, like the air that we breathe or the water  the fish swim in. It’s all we’ve learned how-to-get-by,       so it’s not...

Critical, but remarkably far from hopeless, IF WE... $1

Image
Critical, but remarkably far from hopeless, IF WE exist in a frame of mind that discerns the incidental significance of each moment's symbiotic and synergistic portals for engagement. Existence is a systemic organ that we choose to nourish by our direct engagement as Sartre's existentialist theories exhorted. We can be-though in a tedious incremental, than a profound dynamic way-part of something that is a Y^N+1 power greater than the DI-pole 'Yin-Yang'. It's more self-therapy than consciousness raising. We are hesitant to be an evocative or provocative perceived phenomena. It's done as an instrumentality upon ourselves than a didactic or conscious intention meant for someone else. It's an imperative of our own compelled logical reaction. When we seize-the-moment in its resonant call to our sense of obliged-if not celebratory-response, we provide an exhibition of intense spontaneity that coincidentally becomes a noted template for others TO CHOOSE TO JOIN ...

Schadenfreude!!-II $1

Image
Are we a Schadenfreude collective          and the individual mocked props? The thought came to me when I was snidely responding to a dismissive troll of my post. His avatar was a dinosaur. The tone of his expression showed the annoyed   angst a 'Dino' would have had by the bright glare of the meteor-of-doom. His   remarks seemed to echo to me how the dinosaur felt in its smug top-of-the-food chain-dominant-privilege. So much about 'privilege', a topic for another day. So much about 'privilege and entitlement’ , a topic for another day. Victims say a popularly, handgun fires without anyone pulling the trigger -                      The Washington Post Getting back to the Schadenfreude-karma-caste we adorn and exist in... Is our    choice more than ...

VAIN HUBRIS $1

Image
VAIN HUBRIS!! The micro and macro cosmos seem to be each other's entrance and exit gates ... When we're all alone and lonely we dream of  being part of a group. When the group becomes  bigger than two, it will slowly start falling apart  and split up one day. ------------------------ Is it 'the fault' of the expanding multiverse??!  The macro ever expanding multi-verse being, the progenitor of the entropic centrifugal tendencies for which only the 'forever-compounds' have a more indeterminate shelf-life than our more mortal and temporal dimensional status. ================================ When we're poor we dream of socialism and getting rich at the same time. Once we're comfortable and safe we turn into selfish Neo-liberals, only dreaming of more. No matter the consequences. The destruction of  'the self' and everything and anybody else.. -------------------------------------- In ways my own banishment to the rhetorical wilds of temporal anon...

That Intimidating Option $1

Image
That Intimidating Option    EVEN WHEN IT SEEMS THAT YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR F'CKING MIND, ...it still has your 'long game'. Dear 'Me'-'Self'-n-'I' gave me the word nearly 54 years ago, and then again around 52 years ago. I dismissed what was an obvious fact of my status with the temporally minded, so it took the playing-out of the practical long-game to convince me de-Boyz weren't giving me back in mid-August of 1970 on the corner of Congress and Howard Avenues. They were a telling and warning to   me then AND NOW that 'people, in   general,  AIN'T SHIT  and I’ve no more than a transactional time-of-day for them. But 'This Writer'   had been so indoctrinated by informal sayings and gestures to and towards me, that I was ensnared in the web of emotional connections that drew me back in as greatly as Michael Corleone moaned in Godfather III . So I accommodated my mortal-self to those who had  non-consciously-for the most part-...
